Hey everyone,

We’re back with a major update! This is just the first of several headed your way this week, so stay tuned! 

📦 This one is all about shipping and fulfillment for the Frightening 15 and beyond.

ONE WEEK CLOSER...

✅ PRINTING COMPLETE!

We’re thrilled to report that the regular covers and the fluorescent covers have both been printed and are literally in transit right now on their way to our fulfillment partner. Once they arrive, each book will be bagged and boarded with its custom QR code board, just like you saw in the Chamber of Chills Annual.

But wait… it gets better.

🎉 RED FOILS ARRIVED EARLY (!)

We know 🤯 we can barely believe it either - but for once in this crazy process, something actually arrived ahead of schedule. The red foil editions landed nearly two weeks early, and printing is underway this week.

That means:

⚪️ Silver foils ✅ Printed and about to ship to fulfillment.

🔴 Red foils 🖨️ Printing now, shipping to fulfillment next week.

With all variants now accounted for, we’re revisiting our shipping plan. Originally, we were going to ship in two waves: one for folks who only ordered the regular and fluorescent sets, and a second for those who ordered additional variants. But now, with everything close to in hand...

🗓️ We’re expecting to ship everything all together starting mid-August.

📬 SHIPPING TIMELINE

Here’s how it’s shaping up:

Books (all variants) arriving to our Fulfillment partner now through next week

Posters and trading cards are also en route now

Custom collector boxes are being printed now and are scheduled to ship to Bulu the week of August 11

Once all items are in place, Bulu will begin kitting (putting the right combos together), boxing, and shipping. With all that in mind:

📦 You should expect packages to begin shipping mid-August, with deliveries arriving later that month into early September, depending on your location.

International backers: yes, that includes you! You’re in this wave too, assuming we’ve got your correct shipping info and phone number (more on that below).

🌎 INTERNATIONAL BACKERS + ANNUALS

A special note for our international backers:
If you haven’t received your Chamber of Chills Annual, don’t worry. It’s coming.

📞 The final issue was getting everyone's phone number on file, which is required for international shipping. If you’ve emailed us your number, it’s now been added to your profile.

Here’s how we’re handling the Annuals:

If you’re receiving one or more sets of the Frightening 15, your Annual will be included in the box

If you’re not getting any of the Frightening 15 sets, we’ll ship the Annual to you separately and immediately.

📦 PACKAGING DETAILS

To ensure your books arrive in mint condition, we’ve planned a bit of a Russian doll packaging process:

Collector’s Box 👉 Inside an inner protective box 👉 Inside an outer shipping box

We're taking every precaution to make sure these arrive to you in pristine condition.

🗓️ WHAT’S NEXT?

As soon as these packages begin going out the door, we’ll turn our attention to the rest of the collection (for those of you who picked up even more Pre-Code Horror goodness). Expect a dedicated timeline update by the end of August.

And for our Archie backers, you’ll have a dedicated update about how this affects that campaign’s fulfillment shortly as well. (It’s all connected... just like a good horror story.)

One Week Closer… 

The Press Date Is Set! 🖨️✨

Hey Pre-Code Horror Fans!

We’re one week closer! And this week, we’ve got long awaited news…

🎉 The print date for the Frightening 15 is officially scheduled!

At loooooooooong last - after all the anticipation, we now have locked in our production timeline for the first-ever Authentic Editions collection, and it is happening.

This includes ALL variations of the Frightening Fifteen:

🔹 Authentic covers (the classics!)
💡 Fluorescent variants (gorgeous, electric color!)
🔴 Red foil editions
⚪ Silver foil editions
🤫 + A new mystery variant we’ll be revealing very soon... and trust us, it’s a good one.

📅 So what’s the timeline?

July 9: Pages begin printing

July 14-ish: Covers print and books get stitched together

Week of July 22: Books ship to the fulfillment center

Early August: Orders begin shipping to backers!

Yes, we’re a little bit behind our original printing estimate but now that we’re locked, we’re rolling.
