Short and sweet, with some good news:
We’re sharing fresh photos from Bulu’s floor: bagging & boarding is actively wrapping up. Here are a couple shots of Chamber of Chills #19 being prepped. It’s incredibly nice to FINALLY see stacks of issues moving through the line.
A few additional packaging tests are happening over the next day to lock in safe transit. After that, boxes move into full kitting.
Current update from Bulu: shipping begins next week
Orders will go out in batches based on your configuration (variants, posters, trading cards) so the right items reach the right backers.

As shipping kicks off, we’ve got a couple of additive, fun reveals queued up - nothing that slows deliveries, just extra goodness. We’ll also share the timeline for the rest of the collection shortly after Frightening 15 starts moving.
We’ll be at LA Comic Con this weekend with previews, sneak peeks, and a few items for sale.
Important: We will not be selling the Frightening 15 at the show (shipping to backers comes first). We will have some copies of Chamber of Chills Annual #1 available at the booth, plus display copies of other books to browse.

Short version (TL;DR):
Everything for the Frightening 15 is at Bulu (Our Fulfillment Partner). Due to a warehouse re-org, a late box arrival, and a hiccup getting our custom QR boards into their system, we’re about 10–12 days behind where we expected.
The latest timeline from Bulu:
We chose Bulu because this project needs specialized kitting (variants, posters, trading cards, different box configurations). They’re strong, but the timeline the last two weeks drifted:
Our boxes landed a week later than first projected → collided with Bulu’s scheduled warehouse reorg.
One pallet of QR boards (the custom boards that go with each issue) wasn’t ingested into their system at first and had to be found & SKU’d so every bag+board is tracked correctly.
We waited a few days hoping to give you a firm ship date. We don’t want to keep you in the dark, so we’re sharing the latest confirmed schedule above and will follow with exact ship timing as soon as it’s locked.
All components are at Bulu (books in all flavors, boxes, posters, trading cards, QR boards).
A chunk of issues are already bagged & boarded; the rest finish by Sept 30.
Kitting starts Oct 1. As sets get boxed, shipments will begin, continuing in waves to ensure every configuration is correct.
We’re pushing to move faster without risking damage or mis-kits. The goal is pristine books, the right items to the right backers with no shortcuts.

TL;DR: Everything for the Frightening 15 is at Bulu - our fulfillment partner. Their warehouse re-org paused us this week. Kitting starts early next week; shipping begins right after. We’re waiting on Bulu’s exact day-by-day schedule and will share it as soon as we have it.
As the collector boxes arrived, Bulu was mid warehouse reorganization, which temporarily interrupted our planned start.
We held a few days hoping to confirm exact ship dates. Rather than make you wait longer, we’re sharing what we know now and will follow up with precise timing as soon as Bulu confirms.
We know this is frustrating. We feel it too. The good news: everything is ready in one place and queued to move. The bump this week was timing, not materials or production.
We’ve got a couple of cool new things in the works to enhance your Pre-Code Horror / Authentic Editions experience. Expect reveals within the next two weeks.
